Fans Can’t Believe Controversial Timeout was Granted to Lakers in Final Seconds of Win over Suns

The Phoenix Suns have been eliminated from the NBA In-Season Tournament with a 106-103 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers.

However, it did not end with some controversy. The Lakers were granted a timeout with seven seconds left even though no team had possession. Los Angeles was up by two at this point and Phoenix appeared to have a wide-open layup.

Fans and even NBA players couldn’t believe the call, especially because it was LeBron James who called the timeout.

The Suns fall to 12-9 on the year and will next play the Kings at home on Friday night.
