Entering tonight, Booker needed five points to achieve this. Tonight is Booker’s first game against the Lakers this season, as he missed the Suns’ first two contests, both losses, against LA due to different injuries.
These are the nine players to reach 13,000 points at a younger age than Booker: LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Tracy McGrady, Carmelo Anthony, Kevin Durant, Bob McAdoo, Michael Jordan and Wilt Chamberlain.
Booker is second all-time in Suns’ franchise history in points scored, behind only Walter Davis (15,666).
These are some pretty good names to join for the 27-year-old Booker.
The Suns currently trail the Lakers 57-45 witth 1:10 left in the first half.
