However, the Lakers were awarded a timeout with seven seconds left when it appeared no team had possession in what would have been an easy layup to tie the game for the Suns.

Kevin Durant had just cut the deficit to two on a nice layup. Both Booker and Durant had five fouls, and they did not a good job of trapping not fouling Austin Reaves, who coughed up the ball, but LeBron James called a timeout while it was loose.

Booker immediately took to social media to express his confusion on the Lakers’ timeout call.

Booker finished tonight with 21 points on 6-of-16 shooting with 11 rebounds, six assists and seven turnovers. He also eclipsed 13,000 career points in the loss.

Booker and the Suns clearly weren’t happy with this call, which ultimately cost them a spot in the final four teams in Vegas.
