Keita Bates-Diop meets with the media at Phoenix Suns’ practice one day after Phoenix fell 122-119 to the Lakers.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe! In the home debut of Bradley Beal and fourth straight missed game by Devin Booker (right calf tightness), the Suns got out to a really hot start and carried it through three quarters. Once up 14, a 19-2 run by the Lakers got them right back into it at the beginning of the fourth and proved insurmountable for the Suns to come fully back from.
In his fourth-straight start last night, Bates-Diop had 11 points, five rebounds and two steals. The Suns are 2-2 when he starts.
So what is going on with these fourth quarter blown leads?
“There’s a lot of fourth quarter turnover (in terms of players in and out),” Bates-Diop said. “We’ll figure it out in time, it’s just a process.”
The Suns will look to rebound from this loss to the Lakers tomorrow night against the Oklahoma City Thunder at home at 6 p.m. MST.
