Nurkić had 14 points, nine rebounds and seven assists in this contest. On the year, he is averaging 10.9 points, 9.3 rebounds and 5.0 assists, showing off his playmaking skills at a high level for a center.

Nurkić feels like the problems with the Suns have had stem from Bradley Beal missing seven games early, while Devin Booker is still out from injury.

“We’re missing super-max players,” Nurkić said. “It’s as simple as it is. When you have that level of players, and they’re not available, you’re gonna obviously struggle in some minutes.”

The Suns will look to rebound from this loss to the Lakers tomorrow night against the Oklahoma City Thunder at home at 6 p.m. MST.
