Exactly one month ago, Conner suffered a knee injury on Oct. 8 against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Then, Conner was placed on the I.R. on Oct. 10 and there has little to no news of his status since.
Now, Cardinals fans can get even more excited about the possibility that both of their two biggest offensive stars are getting close to a return.
Furthermore, Murray is expected to start against the Atalanta Falcons on Nov. 12, but there is also a possibility that Conner could as well.
Multiple NFL insiders have stated that it depends on how Conner feels and performs back to practice this week.
The @AZCardinals designate RB James Conner to return from IR, opening his practice window.
It’s possible the Cardinals will have both Conner and Kyler Murray back in the offense Sunday against the Falcons.

However, the Cardinals could also use the three-week practice window like what they did with Murray to give Conner as much time as he needs to be fully be prepared and healthy to head back to the gridiron.
Before he was injured, Conner ran for 364 yards on 68 carries in five games this season.
Furthermore, the two-time Pro Bowl RB in Conner has scored two touchdowns.
