Beal, who has missed the team’s first seven games with low back spasms, was upgraded to questionable for tomorrow’s road game vs. the Bulls. Devin Booker, who missed the last two games  with a right calf strain, remains out.

Multiple reports have suggested that Beal could return tomorrow night or Friday night against the Lakers at home. Now, the Suns make those reports sound even more promising with this injury designation. Beal has been listed as out or doubtful for every game since the season opener.

The optimism regarding his road to recovery was seen during his pregame warm-up routine prior to the Suns’ matchup against the 76ers on Saturday.

Beal’s intensified pregame regimen featured impressive three-pointers, sideline-to-sideline sprints, and dynamic stretches, indicating that he’s getting closer to a return.

AZ Central’s Duane Rankin shared a post of Beal practicing today saying he was on course to return tomorrow.

After making the blockbuster deal for the three-time All-Star this summer, all of the anticipation for what Beal can do in his first season with the Suns finally looks like it’s nearing the beginning. Unfortunately, it will not be alongside Booker.

Beal’s 2022-23 regular season stats (Washington Wizards): 23.2 PPG | 5.4 APG | 3.9 RPG | 0.9 SPG | 0.7 BPG | 2.9 TOV on 50.6/36.5/84.2 splits in 33.5 MPG (50 games/starts)

Tomorrow night’s matchup in Chicago tips off at 6 p.m. MST. The Suns are currently 3-4 and the Bulls are 3-5.

Kevin Durant is hyped for Bradley Beal to return to from injury
