ASU Alum James Harden Scores in 17 in Clippers Debut

James Harden made his debut for the Clippers, and he was actually very solid.

Harden finished with 17 points, three rebounds, six assists, and a steal. It was not enough, however, as the Clippers got blown out by the Knicks 111-97.

Harden didn’t score until the second quarter when he drained a baseline jumper. It was Harden’s first game in six months. He went 50% from 3 and went 6/9 from the field. It was a solid debut for the former Sun Devil, but I’m sure he will only get better as he becomes more confident in that offense and works again with Russell Westbrook, who scored 17.

The Knicks did not let Harden’s debut faze them, as Julius Randle scored a 27 points and ten rebound double-double. Mitchell Robinson also had a double-double with 13 points and 15 rebounds. RJ Barrett added 26. So, Harden will have to help the superteam Clippers more if they want to start winning.

Jose Perez is Going to be Crucial to any ASU Success
