Kevin Durant had an outstanding afternoon, scoring 41 points, a season high, and going a perfect 12-12 from the free-throw line.

The Suns led the entire game, with Eric Gordon contributing 21 points and Grayson Allen adding 14.

While they did limit their three-point attempts, when they did pull the trigger, it often paid dividends.

Their efficient three-point shooting at 40% played a significant role in the victory.

Cade Cunningham led the Pistons with 26 points, but his 0-6 performance from behind the arc hindered their momentum.

What made this win different was the Suns’ ability to maintain control and avoid blowing a lead, a problem they have faced all season.

The Suns won every single quarter.

Next up for Phoenix is a Wednesday night matchup against the Bulls.
