Arizona Sports Fans in General

It has been a rough week for Arizona sports fans. The Arizona Diamondbacks season ended in a 4-1 series loss to the Texas Rangers. Although the run was magical and there is a bright future for the Diamondbacks, it is a tough pill to swallow. Especially when it happened in Phoenix at Chase Field. After having to endure the pain of losing the World Series after not making it for 22 years, the Cardinals played today.

The Arizona Cardinals lost today 27-0 to the hands of the Browns. Witnessing two tough losses, Arizona sports fans, our hearts go out to you. The Cardinals have been struggling all year, and fans knew that going into the season. Watching it unfold, that’s the tough part. Not to mention, the Phoenix Suns have started the year 2-4. The Suns are playing in Detroit today and hope to snap a three-game losing streak. Arizona sports fans also have had to watch that this week.

Seattle Seahawks +5.5

The Seattle Seahawks and their fan base were riding high heading into this game against the Ravens. A lot of people may not have taken them to win the game outright, and if you did, you probably changed the channel early. Seattle has a spread going into their matchup with the Ravens at 5.5 and lost the game by 34 points. The Seahawks got lit up by the Ravens today 37-3.

Texans -2.5

This game is my pick for game of the week and could be game of the year. Houston and Tampa Bay battled today in a game that had all of the drama. I was on the edge of my seat watching the final five minutes of the fourth quarter. Not only did the Texans go up by three due to one of their back up running backs kicking a field goal. They lost the lead with 46 seconds left. Low and behold, CJ Stroud would drive down the field and throw his fifth passing touchdown of the day. The bad beat, however, comes after the final touchdown. Again, the spread was set at 2.5. Houston took a knee on a two-point conversation attempt for a final score of 37-39.

Also, it’s a bad beat if you weren’t bought into the CJ Stroud hype train and took the Buccaneers money line. Stroud threw for 455 passing yards today and 5 touchdowns.
