Two brave teens, Jesse and Ben, are stepping up to the plate for an experience of a lifetime, thanks to Make-A-Wish Arizona. Battling critical illnesses hasn’t stopped these 17-year-olds from dreaming big. Their wish? To be part of the electrifying atmosphere of the World Series.

Jetting off to Phoenix, they’re not just spectators but part of the game. The thrill of live action, the roar of the crowd, and rubbing shoulders with baseball giants like Mookie Betts and Aaron Judge, as well as Diamondbacks’ skipper Torey Lavello, it’s a dream come true.

Jesse can’t hide his excitement. “Everything’s taken care of,” he says. “No worries, no planning. Just pure fun!” Ben shares the sentiment, pumped and ready for action. “We’re bringing home a ‘W’ today,” he declares confidently, already feeling the fan love in Arizona.

Their families couldn’t be more grateful to Make-A-Wish Arizona, Make-A-Wish Wisconsin, and Major League Baseball for making this happen.

But the surprises didn’t stop there. Game 3 had more in store for our young heroes. A tour of Chase Field, a surprise meet-and-greet with five-time MLB All-Star Aaron Judge – the 2023 Roberto Clemente Award winner – and a chance to meet other stars during batting practice.

Watching Game 3 from a suite with Arizona’s own Jordin Sparks and Roberto Clemente’s sons was the cherry on top and the duo returned to downtown Phoenix to catch Game 4.

And let’s not forget the surprise merchandise and meal cards from Major League Baseball. Truly a home run for hope!
