The Phoenix Suns are staying on the west coast with a trip to the Staples Center tonight to take on the Lakers. Phoenix is coming off of a hard-fought win in Golden State. Kevin Durant and company are 1-0 heading into tonight’s match up but will be without Devin Booker and Bradley Beal. Let’s take a look at what DraftKings has to offer for tonight’s game.

Game Lines

The injured Suns are currently the underdog to win the game outright tonight. Phoenix has a money line set at +200, which is justifiable. The Suns are without arguably their best player, Devin Booker, and an elite level scorer in Bradley Beal. However, what the Suns are losing offensively tonight, they are making that up with defense. Okogie and Allen are two guy I expect to get a ton of minutes tonight with the roster cut so thin, and they’re both great defensively. I probably would lean towards the spread, which is a safer option. The current set spread is at 6.5, if you play the alternate spread at 5.5, you’ll be looking at plus money.

Player Props

Kevin Durant has the highest points line for tonight’s game set at 30.5 and I know that seems really high. Especially because Durant is coming off of a game where he shot 7-22 from the field and had just 18 points. I do like the over though, just for the simple fact that Durant is going to be the main ball handler for the Suns tonight. In the preseason, Durant had 21 points at the Staple Center against the Lakers in just 17 minutes, also. I like Durant’s over on three pointers made as well. Kevin Durant only shot two three against the Warriors, but I believe the volume will be higher tonight. His line is set at +110 to go over 2.5 made threes.

Rebounding & Defensive Props

Another prop I like is Nurkic 10+ rebounds. I know he is going up against Anthony Davis tonight, but in the season opener the Suns center had nine boards in the first quarter alone. Nurkic has to be a huge piece for the Suns if they grab their second win tonight. I like Josh Okogie to record 2+ steals tonight. Okogie had one steal in Golden State, and I expect him to get a ton of minutes tonight and create havoc. Drew Eubanks is another guy I like. I like Eubank to get 2+ blocks in tonight’s game. He is a monster in the paint, against the Warriors he had a block and they are mostly a perimeter team. Eubank’s will have a lot of opportunities to block shots tonight against the Lakers.
