That’s high praise from the head of the MLB. Arizona has come a long way. Their highest-paid player is not even on the roster anymore in Madison Bumgarner. They went from being one of the worst in baseball two years ago to the World Series, thanks to the young talent they have developed, traded for, and low-profile free-agent signings.
