The NBA announced today that the league will be moving back to the traditional East vs. West format for the 2024 All-Star Game.

The game will also now return to four 12-minute quarters instead of an untimed fourth quarter with a target score.

The East vs. West style will eliminate the player draft that has been implemented for the last few years. Whether or not this brings more competition to the game remains to be seen.

The 2024 NBA All-Star game will be played on Feb. 18 in Indianapolis. We could see some Suns’ stars join forces for the game on the West team in this new format.
