In the offseason, the Phoenix Suns made a huge splash with acquiring guard/forward Bradley Beal from the Washington Wizards.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe! Most of the credit went to Suns general James Jones, but another person weighed in on the transaction, star Kevin Durant.
When talking about his involvement, Durant said that he “admitted to being vocal in the Beal acquisition,” according to Yahoo Sports senior NBA reporter Vincent Goodwill.
“I just want to be aware of making decisions, who should be on the team,” Durant told Goodwill. I give my suggestions and input and hopefully they take it in and value my opinion. But if they don’t, I still come to work and do my job.”
On Jun. 23, Beal landed in the valley, alongside point guard Jordan Goodwin and current free agent Isaiah Todd.
As for the haul that went to Washington, 4 first-round pick swaps and six second-round selections were part of the deal.
Former Suns guards Landry Shamet and Chris Paul were also involved.
Yesterday, Beal did not suit up for Phoenix in their season-opener against the Golden State Warriors as he was dealing with lower-back tightness.
