In four game played, Eubanks, who signed with the Suns this offseason, tied Raptors’ guard Dennis Schroeder for the highest plus/minus in the preseason at +60.

Four Suns cracked the top-10 in this list with Devin Booker (6th), Grayson Allen (9th) and Kevin Durant (10th) all behind Eubanks.

Eubanks did this while playing at least 10 less minutes than the top-5 players in this category.

The best performance from the Suns’ big man came in the preseason finale against the Lakers.

Eubanks finished this game with seven points, nine rebounds, six assists, two steals and a block. In this game alone, he had a plus/minus of +25, which was the best on the Suns.

He also had this nasty posterizing dunk in the fourth quarter.

Eubanks looks like he will give everything he has while on the court and be a perfect backup center to Jusuf Nurkić for the Suns. Eubanks served as Nurkić’s backup in Portland last season as well. The undrafted center from Oregon State spent his first four years in San Antonio with the Spurs before going to Portland last season.

These were Eubanks’ stats last season with the Blazers:

2022-23 regular season stats (Portland Trail Blazers): 6.6 PPG | 5.4 RPG | 1.3 APG | 1.3 BPG | 0.5 SPG | 0.9 TOV on 64.1/38.9/66.4 splits in 20.3 MPG (78 games, 28 starts)

Eubanks has everything working for him to be a productive player on this Suns’ team early on. He has pre-established chemistry with Nurkić and is a perfect fit for how new coach Frank Vogel likes to play. Vogel’s system has benefited defensive-minded big men in the past.

The Suns open their season tomorrow night at Golden State at 7:00 p.m. MST.

Will Drew Eubanks’ Have A Big Role with the Suns?
