Now there is a reason why.

The ‘Yotes veteran winger, Zucker, is dealing with a lower body injury and has been listed as “week to week,” according to the club.

In the offseason, Zucker sign 1-year deal with Arizona after 13 seasons split with the Minnesota Wild and Pittsburgh Penguins.

On Oct. 21, the Las Vegas native Zucker scored the first NHL goal of the 2023-24 season at Mullett Arena in the Coyotes home opener against the Ducks.

Zucker only had 5:33 of time-on-ice before leaving the game.

So far this campaign, Zucker has 2 goals in 5 games for the valley hockey club.

Following the news, the ‘Yotes called up forwards Jan Jeník and Zach Sanford from their AHL affiliate, the Tucson Roadrunners.
