Vogel said that Beal started experiencing back tightness in Palm Springs where the Suns played the Lakers Thursday. Beal also missed the team’s third preseason game in Portland against the Trail Blazers due to back tightness.
Vogel would not specify more on Booker’s injury. It seems as if these injuries are minor and should not keep these two stars out for Tuesday’s game.

Vogel explained some more of his mindset when it comes to injuries:
“(I) make all decisions on all injuries on a case by case basis,” Vogel said. “I’m a pro-play guy if guys are healthy, but if guys are dinged up, and we have to manage certain injuries, you manage them case by case.”
