After the Suns waived Ish Wainright today, the team still has one roster cut to make. Fans are wondering if it will be Bol Bol.

We all know it should have been Bol Bol https://t.co/BFPPrKludN

I think Bol Bol should be the other cut. I’d rather he had been the cut over Ish but that didn’t happen

This is a little strange because Bol had seemingly become a fan-favorite already in the Valley. The team currently has 18 players total with two players on two-way contracts. They need to have 15 players on standard contracts by the time the regular season starts, but have 16 right now.

Bol’s numbers have not panned out this preseason. It seems as if he’s fallen behind in the rotation to two-way center Udoka Azubuike.
The 7-foot-2 Bol averages the fewest minutes (10.3) and points (3.3) on the team this preseason. He is also tied for the fourth-highest average of turnovers (1.8) on the Suns in these few minutes. Him and new acquisition Keon Johnson seem to be the two most likely candidates to be cut at this point.
I know Bol Bol is a #Suns fan favorite, but he won't be a regular rotation player on this roster if he is not cut.
Bol was the last player to enter the Suns' preseason game Monday and fans had to beg for him to go in.
I expect Bol has a little bit more value in a trade rather…

The 23-year-old Bol was signed by the Suns on July 16 after being waived by the Orlando Magic. These were his stats last season:
Bol’s 2022-23 season stats: 9.1 PPG | 5.8 RPG | 1.0 APG | 1.2 BPG | 0.4 SPG | 1.6 TOV on 54.6/26.5/75.9 splits in 21.5 MPG (70 games, 33 starts)
Teams have until 2 p.m. MST on Oct. 23 to finalize their 15-man rosters, one day before the regular season starts.
We will see what decision the Suns make, but for now the team will take on the Lakers tonight in Palm Springs in their final preseason matchup.
