WATCH: Devin Booker Was ON FIRE During Suns’ Victory over Blazers

No matter who the Suns add, Phoenix is still Devin Booker’s city, and he showed that tonight.

Booker made his first four three-pointers of the game, helping lead to a 17-point first quarter.

“Whenever we can test out or measure ourselves against a different team, it is always a good time,” Booker said.

He also seemed to have unlocked a new dimension to his game: the pull-up three-pointer. Many times in the past he’d be hesitant to take them or take them at inopportune times, but coach Frank Vogel has empowered him to take more, and we saw that first-hand tonight in the first quarter.

What does Booker think of adding Bradley Beal to the mix with him and Kevin Durant?

“It hasn’t been an adjustment, for real,” Booker said. “Only thing I tell them is to be more aggressive. Then that will open things up for everyone else.”

In total, Booker finished with 19 points, four rebounds, two assists and two steals in 18 minutes.

It is unclear as of now if Booker will play in the team’s final preseason game in Los Angeles against the Lakers on Thursday night.
