The Suns played their main starters, except they rested Jusuf Nurkić and started Drew Eubanks. They also chose to start Grayson Allen over Josh Okogie for this game.

For the Blazers, they elected to rest Deandre Ayton, Anfernee Simons and Jerami Grant.

The Blazers came out in a 2-3 zone on defense to start the game. It didn’t truly affect the Suns at all.

They were able to get going early behind the play of Devin Booker who had 17 points in the first quarter and went 4/5 from behind the three point line.

The Suns were up 36-23 at the end of the first.

Phoenix started the second quarter off strong as they were able to expand their lead. The Suns were up 57-37 with 6:46 left in the quarter.

This is the second straight game where they were able to expand the lead to 20 points in the second quarter.

Kevin Durant picked up where Devin Booker left off, going 4/6 in the second quarter.

The Suns continued to expand their lead with good defense that led to easy offense.

At halftime the Suns were up 76-54.

Booker and Durant lead all scorers with 19. Grayson Allen and Bradley Beal chipped in with 11 each.
