ASU is on a bye this week, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t important games to watch. However, the most important game for ASU to watch this week is #7 Washington versus #8 Oregon.

This game is college football’s game of the week. Two top 10 teams, will battle it out for the top seed in the Pac-12. College Gameday was there this morning. Also, Arizona State plays both of these schools in the future.
Next weekend Arizona State will face Washington on the road and then in late November they will welcome Oregon to Mountain America Stadium.
Washington and Oregon have the two best offenses in college football and are both led by future NFL quarterbacks. Washington is led by Heisman candidate Michael Penix, who is a top 4 QB in this class, while Oregon is led by Bo Nix, a veteran, who will be a mid-round pick but is still one of the best players in this class. Their defenses are subpar, which allows for this game to be incredibly high-scoring. I wouldn’t be surprised if this topped 100 points.
ASU fans should be very active in this game and if you want a team to root for, I would root for Oregon. If Oregon wins this, there is a good chance they could be undefeated coming into Mountain America Stadium, which would make that game sellout-worthy. If ASU fans want another sellout, cheer for Oregon.
