Washington just beat the number 8 ranked team in the country in Oregon 36-33 in what was one of the best college football games of the season.

Quarterback Michael Penix, Jr. continues his stellar play as he’ll be in the Heisman conversation for the remainder of the season. He finished 22-37 for 302 yards, 4 TDs and 1 interception.

Their number one receiver Rome Odunze didn’t disappoint either as he had 8 receptions for 128 yards and 2 touchdowns. Another receiver Ja’Lynn Polk finished the game having 6 receptions 118 yards and a touchdown. to add to the stellar offense

Running back Dillon Johnson added 20 carries for 100 yards and a touchdown and Washington finished the game with 415 total yards on offense while only having 25 minutes of time of possession for the game.

Washington just showed that they’re not only good, they’re really efficient as an offense which features a lot of issues for Arizona State next Saturday.

With Arizona State coming out of a bye this week, they will have their hands full against a team that they beat last year in an upset back at Mountain America Stadium.

That was the last game Washington has lost dating back to last year and going into this year. They have been a juggernaut on offense and it’s been hard to stop them.

The matchup I’m looking forward to is Arizona State’s secondary going up against Washington’s high-flying passing attack. It should be a great test for Jordan Clark, Demetrius Ford, and Ro Torrence who have been playing some good football this season during a tough season.

Arizona State will need to bring their A-game next Saturday on the road if they hope to come out of there with one of the biggest upsets in school history.
