Diamondbacks hold early 3-0 lead over Dodgers in Game 2

While not quite reaching the level of dominance that was put on display in Game 1, the Arizona Diamondbacks have once again jumped out to an early lead against the Dodgers in the NLDS,

It all began with Corbin Carroll, who patiently drew a leadoff walk, setting the tone for the Diamondbacks’ early offensive surge.

Following Carroll’s walk, Ketel Marte executed a flawless bunt down the third-base line, earning himself an infield single.

Tommy Pham then stepped up and delivered a single, loading the bases for the Diamondbacks before fans finished filling into their seats at Dodgers stadium.

With the bases juiced, Arizona capitalized, scoring all three of their base runners.

As a result, Dodgers’ manager Dave Roberts pulled Bobby Miller in the 2nd inning. 

In the span of 13 innings of the National League Division Series, the Diamondbacks have now outscored the Dodgers by an impressive margin of 14-2.
