The Not-So-Good Week 5 Stat from Joshua Dobbs

After a very impressive first few weeks, Cardinals’ quarterback Joshua Dobbs failed to keep it going in yesterday’s 34-20 loss to the Bengals.

Dobbs did throw for two touchdowns, but only completed 15-of-32 (46.9%) of his passes for 166 yards and had his first two interceptions on the season.

On top of this, he only had a total QBR of 9.5, which is the sixth-worst single-game number by any quarterback this year.

This could be only a one-time thing for the newest Cardinals’ quarterback. However, things could get tougher depending on the severity of James Conner’s injury.

On the year, Dobbs has completed 102-of-155 (65.8%, 19th in NFL) of his throws. He has recorded 980 yards (22nd in NFL), six touchdowns (T-13th) and two interceptions. His QBR on the whole season of 55.8 is not too bad, ranking 15th in the NFL.

With Kyler Murray’s return date still up in the air, Dobbs will have to try to bounce back for the 1-4 Cardinals, despite a pretty banged-up offense.

What do you think Cardinals fans, can Dobbs turn it around after a rough performance?
