“On the court, we have a great team,” Ishbia said. “I think we’ve got the best team in the league, but we’ve got to play it out.”

This comes after an offseason where the Suns replaced former head coach Monty Williams with two-time NBA champion Frank Vogel.

Shooting guard Bradley Beal will link up with Phoenix star’s Devin Booker and Kevin Durant after Beal was traded from the Washington Wizards for Chris Paul.

In the offseason, free agent signings like Eric Gordon, Bol Bol and Keita Bates-Diop are just some of the new faces that will be in the valley.

Last week, Suns former first overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft, Deandre Ayton, was dealt to Portland as part of a three-way trade including superstar Damian Lillard heading to Milwaukee.

As part of the trade, Phoenix received center Jusif Nurkić, guards Keon Johnson and Grayson Allen, and forward Nassir Little.

When talking about his opinions on the roster, Ishbia says he has a team that he is excited to see how they progress going forward.

“Obviously we got our star’s Booker, Durant and adding Bradley Beal and we got so many amazing players,” Ishbia said. “I think from anyones perspective, we’ve got a great team that’s deep. The way I look at it is simple, we got to get better every day.”

Preseason begins Oct. 8 as the Suns head to Detroit to play Williams and the Pistons at Little Caesars Arena at 12 p.m.
