Arizonas money line is currently set at -102 for tonight’s ball game, coming off of a 7-1 loss last night. The Diamondbacks are going for the series split tonight, and trying to avoid a series loss. I’m taking the Diamondbacks money line here to stay in Wildcard contention, they know every series counts. Pairing that with the under on 0.5 runs in the first inning, money.
Pitching props
Merrill Kelly has been flat out dominate in four of his five most recent starts, and I think it will continue. Kelly has gone back to back games allowed just one run and four hits.
Merrill Kelly’s line is set at 5.5 for strikeouts, and the over is pretty sweet here. Kelly has struck out more than six hitters in four of his last six outings. Even though Kelly has been pitching rather good, he has only went over 17.5 outs in record in two of five starts, which is why I like the under at +100. Kelly also has a line set on hits allowed at 4.5 and this one’s a toss up. The Mets have been hitting the ball well this series, but Kelly has been dominating teams recently. I’m going to stay away from it due to concerns.
Batter props
Arizona needs their stars to step up big time tonight. Tonight feels like a night we need to ride Corbin Carroll. Carrolls line on total bases is currently 1.5 and to go over is +120. That feels like money to me. To steal a bag Carroll is at +195 and I like the value on that.
