Diamondbacks Best Bets; Game Two Against Colorado

© Rob Schumacher/The Republic / USA TODAY NETWORK

On Tuesday night at Chase Field, we get the treat of watching Brandon Pfaadt take on the Colorado Rockies with a first pitch at 6:40 PM PST. Oh, and we got some best bets for it!

On Tuesday, September fifth, the Arizona Diamondbacks will be hosting the Rockies. Diving into some lines here, the Diamondbacks are the current favorites at -205 with Pfaadt on the mound. After a convincing win in todays game, taking Arizonas money line is a lock. Granted, Kelly was straight up owning the Rockies, we expect Pfaadt to do the same. Although Pfaadt’s last start was a little shaky, the Rockies are not the Dodgers. The Rockies haven’t seen Pfaadt all year, which normally fairs well for pitchers. Colorado struck out 14 times today against Arizonas staff, so I’m taking Pfaadt’s over at -6.5. Paring that with his -170 line on over 4.5 hits allowed gets us in the green, and it feels safe.

Waking the bats up!

Lourdes Gurriel Jr has been on a bit of a hot streak at the plate lately. He will be facing Kyle Freeland who has given up 6+ hits 15 different times. 8+ in his last three starts. In today’s game the Diamondbacks hit the ball well, so they will be carrying some momentum. Corbin Carroll ids simply that guy and we all know it. Carroll’s line to get over 1.5 total bases is set at +140 and we’re locking that in. He only had one hit in todays game, and still went over that mark.

Diamondbacks money line/under 8.5 total runs combo is on draft kings at +205, and it is enticing. Todays game saw the Diamondbacks win 4-2, and it was a convincing one. If yo told me to book it, I would.

All of the lines I use can be found on DraftKings.
