A ball that was struck hard down the right field line found its way all the way into the right field corner. With a Diamondbacks kick, Carroll was able to reach third. Geraldo Perdomo was also able to turn on the jets, finding his way to the plate all the way from first base.

That RBI was Carroll’s 67th on the year, placing him fourth on the team just three shy of Ketel Marte. With the triple Carroll surpassed Bobby Witt Jr and Shohei Ohtani who were both tied for first, at eight. Earlier in the season Carrol was placed second in an MLB power/speed threat poll and it really shows.

He’s been fast, really fast

Corbin Carroll’s speed has been legit since his high school days. When Carroll was in high school he ran a 4.51 40-yard dash in tennis shoes. Carroll’s speed is one of his top qualities he possesses as a baseball player. Whether it be tracking a ball down in the outfield or sprinting around the bases. The 23 year old outfielder holds the highest run grade of anyone on the Diamondbacks roster.

Carroll also holds 26 doubles on the year so far, and is third in all of the MLB with 41 stolen bases.
