The Baltimore Orioles secured a 7-3 win over the Diamondbacks on Saturday, largely propelled by a decisive six-run fourth inning.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Initially, the Diamondbacks had taken the lead with a pair of runs in the 3rd, but Slade Cecconi encountered a meltdown in the following half-inning.
A barrage of four singles, two doubles, and a three-run home run forced Cecconi out of the game with two outs still to grab in the 4th.
Seven of the Orioles’ eleven hits occurring during this explosive stretch.
Contrastingly, the Diamondbacks’ offense fell silent after a promising start. Over the course of the following six innings, they managed just one single, which was nullified by a double play, and a somewhat inconsequential home run in the ninth inning.
A contributing factor to this offensive drought was the absence of slugger Christian Walker, the team’s home run leader, who had only one at-bat before departing due to hand discomfort.
Christian Walker was removed from tonight's #Dbacks game with right hand discomfort.

Tommy Pham in particular experienced a challenging night at the plate as well. Hitting from the three-spot, Pham went 0-4 with three strikeouts, making it particularly tough for the Diamondbacks to ignite any potential rallies from the top of their batting order.
The D-backs will wrap up this three-game series tomorrow at 1:10 PM. Zac Gallen is scheduled to get the start with hopes of securing a series win.
