Josh Hart is the ultimate “glue guy”. He does everything to hold his team together. Hart is a very good defensive player and rebounder. Hart is one of the best in the league at getting a rebound and creating a one man fast break. The New York Knicks reaped the rewards of Hart’s hustle last season.
The former Villanova Wildcat brings the energy every night. He averaged 9.8 points, 7.8 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game last season while being efficient. Hart shot 53% from the field and 37% from three.
The Phoenix Suns would benefit in a such a major way from the all-around play of Hart.
Alex Caruso
Alex Caruso is a fan favorite no matter where he plays due to his effort on the defensive end and occasional highlight dunks. He is an excellent back-up point guard who can also start when the team is in a bind. Caruso does not care about his offensive numbers. Last season he only shot the ball 4.3 times per game for the Chicago Bulls.
Caruso has been criticized for his lack of aggression on the offensive end but if he was in Phoenix his offense would truly be a bonus. The former Laker would be able to focus on defense and easy open shots created by the attention the stars on the team get.
