The Phoenix Suns have a very talented roster but no roster is perfect. Who are the players that would fit like a hand in a glove for Phoenix?

Lugentz Dort

Lugentz Dort is an integral part of the Oklahoma City Thunder. He averaged 13.7 points per game last season but his offense is a bonus. Dort is one of the best defensive players in the NBA. If he was on the Suns, he would take on the responsibility of guarding the best perimeter player every night.

The former Arizona State Sun Devil has had issues with his offensive efficiency. Now, if he was on the Suns, he would be on the receiving end of so many open shots that his efficiency would improve. Dort would be the perfect fifth starter to go along with Bradley Beal, Devin Booker, Kevin Durant, and DeAndre Ayton.

Jose Alvarado

Jose Alvarado has been a thorn in the side of the Phoenix Suns for the last couple of seasons. He is an extremely pesky defender who has a great skill for creating turnovers. Alvarado has become so good at stealing the ball, that he earned the nickname, “Grand Theft Alvarado”.

The Brooklyn native creates turnovers while also taking care of the ball. Last season, Alvarado had a three to one, assist to turnover ratio. He would be a perfect back-up point guard for the Suns. Who could also close out games as the fifth guy along with the big four.

This is part one of this series. Look out for part two coming soon.
