Mat Ishbia Has been off to a great start with the Phoenix Suns during his time as owner. He’s shown fans a willingness to do whatever it takes and spend however much it takes, to put on the best product possible in hopes of a team winning a championship.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe! With it came a lot of tough decisions that Ishbia had to make like trading away Mikal Bridges and Cam Johnson, parting ways with Monty Williams, trading away Chris Paul and Cameron Payne, as well as saying goodbye to a lot of other guys that contributed well for the Suns over the past three seasons.
However, with these tough decisions, we have seen the franchise reach heights that it’s never reached in a very long time in terms of talent level and operating as a business owner.
In an 8-month span of ownership, Mat Ishbia has:
— Traded for KD
— Hired Frank Vogel
— Traded for Bradley Beal
— Signed multiple key Free Agents
— Made watching Suns games FREE
— Committed to inducting Shawn Marion and Amar’e Stoudemire in the Suns ROHBest owner in the NBA. ☀️ pic.twitter.com/faYIFp52bS

The recent move that he made doesn’t even go toward roster construction. But it still made Suns fans really happy when he decided to retire Suns legends Shawn Marion and Amar’e Stoudemire’s jerseys in the ring of honor.
Mat Ishbia has done more for the Phoenix Suns franchise in 6 months than Robert Sarver did for the Suns in 18 years. https://t.co/Enr7HZeodS

Ishbia hasn’t shied away from wanting to make the Suns and Phoenix Mercury two of the top-flight teams in the NBA and WNBA and fans are slowly starting to see that Ishbia doesn’t just talk the talk, but he walks the walk.
