Tight end Jalin Conyers was heavily expected to be on at least one of the teams, but was only named an honorable mention. He was named preseason first-team All-Pac-12 by PFF earlier this week. Many expect him to be one of the top tight ends in the Pac-12, if not the country, and to break some ASU tight end records, but he was only an honorable mention.
Defensive back Ro Torrence, Sacramento State running back transfer Cameron Skattebo and Cal long snapper transfer Slater Zellers were also honorable mentions. However, Elijhah Badger was an obvious snub, as he is set to be ASU’s No. 1 wide receiver for a second straight year. He had 70 receptions, 866 yards and seven touchdowns last season and is poised for an even bigger season this year in Kenny Dillingham’s offense.
Congratulations to our four Sun Devils for being recognized on the Preseason All-Pac-12 Honorable Mention.🔱 😈@_LuhRo@SlaterZellers@therealjconyers@camskattebo5
