The Lakers are in a win-now mode opportunity with LeBron James about to turn 39 years old next season and Anthony Davis now 30 years old with little room for error in terms of making a push for another championship run.
As for Chris Paul, his future is up in the air with the Suns as both sides are going through all options in regard to how they want to go forward with their partnership.
Paul told AZ Central Duane Rankin that he would “absolutely” love to stay in Phoenix despite the reports that he was waived from the team and that the Suns are looking to trade him.
We’ll see what happens because the Suns have until June 28th to come up with a decision about Paul and his future with the team.
