It’s been a tough couple of seasons for the Coyotes on the ice rink but tonight will go down as one of the most disappointing times in the franchises history.
Early voting results show that the residents of Tempe are not in favor of allowing a stadium for the Coyotes in their town.

The biggest traction from the night was the fans mix feelings about tonight’s news. Some fans took Twitter to voice their frustration with the Coyotes close to having to jump ship from Tempe.
I hope the Coyotes move to Vancouver because that city deserves a professional hockey team

Signing off from #Yotes election HQ.
Wow. After being there for the Coyotes' first game at Mullett Arena, I knew I had to be down here to close the chapter of covering this unforgettable, unique season. My thoughts are with the players, fans, and staff.
Thanks for reading.

Feel terrible for hockey fans in Arizona. A majority of people did not want the new arena, so that must be respected, but local hockey fans really lose here.
If the Coyotes do move, I hope the NHL tries Houston or retries Quebec City. Hockey in Atlanta doesn’t work.

Bummer to see the Coyotes Arena vote in Tempe fail, and fail big … but yah, possibly, could this lead to the Coyotes coming to T-Mobile Center and the NHL back in Kansas City? I would love that in a hot tin second for sure …

Tempe voters reject Arizona Coyotes’ $2.1 billion deal to build a new arena complex
Fans were upset with the lack of support for the Coyotes in what will now look to be a plan B action for the franchise that may need to force them in another city.
It will be interesting to see what happens in the next couple of seasons.
