WATCH: Chris Paul OUT! DeAndre Ayton out? Suns in 7?

Chris Paul OUT still!

Tonight is the game that decides the season for the Suns. They certainly have their work cut out for them, not only because they need to win this to even take it to another must-win situation in a possible game 7, but because of the constant barrage of roadblocks in their way.

Here’s some of what’s been happening recently:

Chris Paul is confirmed to be out for Game 6 with the same groin injury that occurred in Game 2. Devin Booker recently said in an interview that this is not the kind of injury you rush, appearing to be understanding considering he has gone through a similar situation in his career.

The Suns return home for Game 6 tonight, and they have managed so far to maintain victories in this series at the Footprint Center without Paul on the court.

Another player who’s return for Game 6 is listed as questionable is Deandre Ayton, who incurred a rib contusion recently. With these two players out, the bench will likely once again need to rise to the occasion like they did in Games 3 and 4.

Kevin Durant and Devin Booker have both recently expressed their feelings towards the competition, embracing the dogfight this series has been.

The two both appeared a bit off in Game 5, especially Kevin Durant who gave impressively consistent leading performances in Games 1-4.

Be on the lookout not only for a motivated and necessarily hungry performance out of KD and Booker, but a push from Cameron Payne and Landry Shamet, the latter of whom broke out as an important player last time we played at home.
