Deandre Ayton listed as questionable ahead of Game 6

The Phoenix Suns have listed starting center Deandre Ayton as questionable (rib contusion) ahead of their Game 6 matchup against the Denver Nuggets on Thursday.

Ayton has struggled immensely so far in the playoffs; however, he still brings the height that the Suns need to defend two-time MVP Nikola Jokic.

If the Suns are forced to sit the seven-footer, they will likely turn toward Jock Landale.

Landale has already seen a boost in minutes in the series against the Nuggets; he is averaging nearly 15 per game, which is actually higher than during the regular season.

Chris Paul is also still listed as questionable. Paul has not played since Game Two of the Western Conference Semifinals as he is recovering from a left groin strain.

Tip off for Game 6 will be at 7 p.m., and the Suns will be eliminated from the playoffs with a loss.
