Suns vs. Nuggets Game 5 Preview, Odds, and Predictions

© Mark J. Rebilas- USA TODAY Sports

Tonight in a few hours, the Suns will be playing at Ball Arean to take on the Nuggets for Game 5 of their best-of-7 series.

Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!

The series right now is tied at 2-2 after the Suns won the last two games back home in Phoenix. Devin Booker over those last two games has been on a tear. He’s averaging 42 PPG, 11 APG, and 6 RPG on 79% shooting and 66% from three-point range.

In those last two games as well is averaging 38 PPG, 10 RPG, and 7 APG on 46% shooting and 33% from three-point range.

Nikola Jokic for the Nuggets is coming off of a huge game 4 scoring 53 points while dishing out 11 assists. He’s continuing to show the league why he’s a back-to-back MVP and arguably the best player in basketball.

One of the bad things that happened in Game 4 was between Jokic and Suns owner Mat Ishbia on the sideline which warranted both guys to be fined $25,000 for their altercation on the sideline.

Here are the odds and my prediction going into game 5 tonight between the Suns and Nuggets in what will very well be a must-win game.

Odds Ahead of Game 5 Between Suns and Nuggets

Against the Spread: -6.5 favored Nuggets

Over/Under: 228 for the game

Moneyline: -240 for the Nuggets and +215 for the Suns

Suns +142 odds to advance to Western Conference Finals

My Prediction Ahead of Game 5 Between Suns and Nuggets

I got the Nuggets winning won soundly tonight by a final score of 118-99. I think the Suns have figured something out with their up-tempo style of play with Paul out of the lineup. I think this is going to be a game where Jamal Murray shows up and shows out and they take control of this game in the second-half and run with it.

Tip-off begins at 7 PM AZ time and let’s see if the Suns can pull off the upset.
