WATCH: By the Numbers – What the Suns Did Different At Home

The Suns made some big improvements at home after struggling on the road.

Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!

Games 1-2 belonged to the Nuggets, Suns fans bit their teeth in hope that the Suns would clap back…

And the Suns did just that.

It was such a noticeable improvement that we broke down the numbers again.

Kevin Durant

Field Goals Made/Attempted/Percentage: 22/46/47.8% in Denver  –  23/50/46% at Home.

Durant was incredible consistent here and at the free-throw line. This shows just how reliable he is as a player on the court.

3-Points Made/Attempted/Percentage: 3/15/20  –  3/9/33.3

A slightly better performance at home here, improving by 13.3%

Free-Throws Made/Attempted/Percentage: 6/6/100%  –  24/29/82.7%

Durant only missed 5 Free-Throws across all 4 games, going 30/35 across Games 1-4

DEVIN BOOKER:

Field Goals Made/Attempted/Percentage: 24/48/50%  –  34/43/79%

Booker made a big leap here. He gave us two memorable performances back to back at home in Games 3 and 4 and improved his accuracy by 29%.

3-Points Made/Attempted/Percentage: 4/9/44.4%  –  8/12/66.6%

Another big improvement here, improving his accuracy by 22.2%. He doubled his successful 3-pointers while only attempting 3 more.

THE PHOENIX SUNS AS A TEAM:

Field Goals Made/Attempted/Percentage: 81/179/45.2%  –  94/176/53.4%

A team-wide accuracy improvement of 8.2% here. Only 3 less attempts made at the Footprint Center vs. in Denver and 13 more buckets.

3-Points Made/Attempted/Percentage: 13/54/24%  –  22/57/38.5%

14.5% improvement here for the Phoenix Suns. Landry Shamet comes to mind when we see this improved statistic. Only 3 more 3-Pointer attempts as a team at home and 9 more successful scores from downtown.

Free Throws Made/Attempted/Percentage: 19/22/86.3%  –  40/47/85.1%

This is my favorite statistic. The Phoenix Suns attempted over DOUBLE the amount of free-throws and maintained an accuracy margin of 1.2%. Unreal.

Game 5 is tonight, if the Suns keep this momentum going into Game 5, we could see more numbers like those of late in Denver.
