This get-together was in response to an incident that occurred in Game 4, where Jokic went to grab the ball out of Ishbia’s hands. After the strip, Ishbia sold a push-off perfectly, which resulted in a technical foul.

While there was speculation that Jokic would be suspended, the league instead fined the two-time All-Star a grand total of $25,000.

Mat Ishbia issued a statement immediately after the incident, stating his respect for Jokic and reiterating that no suspension was warranted.

After all, this series is way too exciting to have one of the team’s best players on the sidelines.

Game 5 tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Ball Arena in Denver.
