The offense started off slow the first series against the Dodgers in LA. However the Diamondbacks showed signs of turning it on in the two games against the Padres.

Then the hose was fully cranked up at home in Phoenix. The Dodgers had no answer for the young lineup. The D-Backs put up 11+ runs the last two games to close the series.

What’s Next for Arizona

Today kicks off a 3 game series hosting the Milwaukee Brewers. Tonight Zac Gallen will take the mound against Wade Miley. Merrill Kelly will take the game two honors for Arizona.

The Brewers are 7-2 thus far on the season and will be a good test for this hot Diamondbacks team. The Brew Crew have 7 batters early on batting .280 or higher, which is elite. Five of those batters have an average of .300 or higher.

This will be a true test for our pitching staff, both starters and bullpen guys will need to be on their “A” Game.

Tonight’s starter for the Brewers, Wade Miley, in his first outing pitched a gem. He threw 6 complete innings scoreless. Striking out three batters and giving up 5 hits.

If the D-Backs can keep the pressure on him and get the runners in scoring position home, it should be a different story tonight. Only time will tell, one thing for sure, we should be in for a treat.
