Washington averaged 7.9 points per game on 36.7% shooting from the field. He’s spent his only two seasons in the NBA on the Pacers and the Knicks. The Suns had to decide between keeping Washington or Saben Lee after injuries occurred for the Suns in the middle of the season.

The Suns elected to go with Lee due to how he played in the system and how well he ran the pick-and-roll action in their offense to go along with his defense. What the Knicks are getting in Washington is a volume shooter that is a good facilitator, especially in transition.

Washington was a very intriguing prospect with the Suns that got a long with his teammates really well. The Knicks definitely got a player they can help develop into a big-time player off the bench with a little bit of patience.
