The Arizona Cardinals had an injury-plagued and disappointing season. Arizona had a talented roster, but it never jelled together due to injuries and other issues. As a result, ESPN ranked their top 50 free agents, and two Cardinals players made the list. Defensive end Zach Allen was ranked No.23, and Cornerback Bryon Murphy was No.37.

Allen finished this season with 5.5 sacks and 26 pressures; he lined up all over the defensive line. In sub-packages, Allen moved into the inside to generate interior pressure. The defensive end was also one of the Cardinals’ better run-stoppers. A lot of teas will be after Allen in free agency.

This past season Murphy had just four pass breakups and no interceptions. In 2021 he intercepted four passes, and 12 passes defended. Murphy is a good cornerback in man-to-man coverage and can play the outside as well as the slot. Murphy’s ability to play inside and out will cause a lot of teams to be interested in signing him.
