The Sun Devils are right behind them in the standings sitting at 6-1 in conference play. ASU winners of 4 straight will have a tough time guarding the upperclassmen the Bruins have at the guard positions.

For First Place

Tonight’s matchup will be for first place, if ASU wins they will hold tie breaker over UCLA at least until the next time they play each other. UCLA can keep first place outright with a victory of their own.

ASU have been riding high coming into conference play behind the Cambridge tandem, Desmond and Devan. Frankie Collins has been the leader of this team both on offense and defense, with his passion and tempo he brings night in and night out.

Betting Lines on Tonight’s Game

While the Bruins of UCLA opened at a 4.5 favorite on the road tonight, they have been bet up to -5. Both of these teams are barely over .500 this season against the spread; ASU 10-8, while UCLA is 11-7.

Five points is a lot to lay in a conference game of this magnitude. Other betting trends in this matchup include; Arizona State has won the first half of their last 6 home games. You can get ASU first half moneyline at +145 currently.

The other trend this game brings is 17 out of the last 18 games between UCLA and ASU have produced a total going over 134, which is where the over/under sits currently.

UCLA known for its slow pace and tough defense might scare most people away from the total, which is why most public money has been on the sides.

With the conference being this tight in the top 7 teams, tonights win will be huge for either team moving closer to march.
