After a multi-week search consisting of countless interviews, the Arizona Cardinals have found their new general manager in Monti Ossenfort.
NFL insider Ian Rapoport broke the news early Monday afternoon.

Ossenfort bounced around as an NFL scout until 2020, he then became the director of player personnel for the Tennessee Titans.
But while being a scout for the Patriots, Ossenfort helped bring home four Super Bowl championships.
This is the first time the Cardinals have gone outside their organization for a general manager since 1993. He will be filling the role of Steve Keim, who was Arizona’s general manager from 2013 up until about a month ago.
Now, the Cardinals can further shift their attention to finding a new head coach as there remains a vacancy.
Per owner Michael Bidwill, the plan has always been to find a new general manager first, then a head coach who matches the GM’s expectations and goals.
