Arizona had multiple opportunities to take control of today’s game against the Vikings. After the Cardinals took their first lead with a touchdown in the beginning of the third quarter, it seemed as if the Arizona offense finally found their groove.
However, three turnovers followed this touchdown. This included two interceptions thrown and a key fumbled punt by Greg Dortch.
It’s hard to win a game against a very good football team when you make such costly mistakes.
Complete lack of discipline in this game by the Arizona Cardinals cost them a chance to win. Way too many mistakes. And of course, had to play from behind AGAIN. Could have won certainly didn't deserve to.

Another key component in today’s loss was the injuries on the offensive line. The Cardinals were without three very important starters, and this was extremely noticeable. Kyler Murray ended the game as the leading rusher with 36 yards.
After coming off a big week, Eno Benjamin ran the ball 9 times for only 22 yards.
The Arizona Cardinals have roughly $33 million in salary cap missing from their offensive line today:

The Cardinals are now 1-3 this season in one-score games. Besides an embarrassing Week 1 matchup against the Chiefs, Arizona has been right in every game. This includes a heartbreaking loss to the undefeated Eagles and now another one that just slipped out of hand against the Vikings.
It seems as if the Cards are one adjustment away from turning their season around. However, time is running out.
Thought @markschlereth nailed it. The Arizona Cardinals are talented but situationally poor. Can’t be in this league. Margins too tight.

And lastly, it is important to note the inability to score early on. Arizona still has not scored a first quarter touchdown through the first eight weeks. This has put the opposing team ahead in just about every game, causing the Cardinals to constantly work from behind.
The Arizona Cardinals have still not scored a first quarter touchdown this season.
It’s Week 8.
