Arizona’s first loss against the Tucson Sugar Skulls on May 3 seemed to be an outlier, and it was for the offense. After only scoring 35 points against Tucson, the offense took a massive turn and scored 53 for the win on Saturday.

Arizona is currently the leading offense in the IFL, averaging 51.2 points a game.

The Arizona defense is currently the eighth-best in the league, giving up an average of 39.5 points a game. They gave up an average of 45 points in their last two games, one of which led to the Rattlers’ first loss.

Without a strong defense, the Snakes’ offense would need to be perfect every game to continue its dominance. As they look toward its next challenge, Arizona has the leadership to help brush up on any miscues and work on its communication.

The Rattlers stay home again this week to host the Vegas Knight Hawks this Saturday, May 17 as it looks for its sixth win of the season.
