Cardinals fans react to 36-30 loss to Panthers, getting eliminated from playoff contention

A 21-yard Chubba Hubbard overtime touchdown Sunday ended the Arizona Cardinals‘ season. The Cardinals were officially eliminated from playoff contention after a 36-30 loss to that Carolina Panthers.

Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray was bested by Panthers quarterback Bryce Young. Murray finished the game 20-for-32 and passing for just one touchdown along with throwing one interception. Murray also had a rushing touchdown. Young, Carolina’s once-troubled young quarterback, finished the game 17-for-26, threw two touchdowns and got another score using his legs.

Arizona, now 7-8 on the season, was vying for a wildcard spot in the playoffs and was officially eliminated from contention with a week 16 loss.
