Phoenix Suns star guard Bradley Beal is not on the injury report for tomorrow’s NBA Cup group play matchup against the Utah Jazz.

Beal went down during yesterday’s 128-117 overtime loss to the Sacramento Kings after DeMar DeRozan fell on his leg with 3:33 to go in OT, but ended up finishing the game.

“It’s a little sore, but X-rays were negative, which is the best thing I could ask for. So probably just a bad bruise or something,” Beal said postgame.

Beal had a season-high 28 points on 9-of-18 shooting to go along with eight rebounds and scored all seven of Phoenix’s (8-2) points in overtime against Sacramento. He described how he was able to stay in the game.

“Adrenaline. With three minutes left, I felt like we had a good flow,” Beal said. “We just couldn’t get a stop really down the stretch. But I was just going out there in the moment, I felt like, if I could just put some pressure on it then I was good. At first, I couldn’t. Then, obviously, as I stood up, I was seeing if I could put some pressure on it.

“Once I can do that and see I can jump, and I can do that, then I can try to go. So, I didn’t feel the greatest, but it was for three minutes.”

With the Suns already down Kevin Durant indefinitely with a left calf strain, starting center Jusuf Nurkić left yesterday’s game at halftime with left ankle soreness, which he was questionable with heading into the night. He is once again questionable for tomorrow’s game against Utah.

“Nurk came into the game with some ankle soreness, and I think kind of toughed it out for the first half and couldn’t go in the second half,” Suns coach Mike Budenholzer said of the big man postgame Sunday.

Mason Plumlee (six points, 11 rebounds, six assists) and Oso Ighodaro (five points and two rebounds) did a great job in Nurkić’s minutes in the second half.

Phoenix also listed two-way players Collin Gillespie (left ankle sprain), Jalen Bridges (with G League team) and TyTy Washington Jr. (with G League team) as out. Devin Booker is not on the injury report after noticeably being affected by an illness the last couple games.

For the Jazz (2-7), Keyonte George (left hind foot sprain) is questionable and Taylor Hendricks (right fibula fracture) is out for the season.

Tomorrow’s matchup is the first of four group stage games in the NBA Cup for the Suns. They also play the Oklahoma City Thunder on the road on Friday (Nov. 15) and then host the Los Angeles Lakers on Nov. 26 and San Antonio Spurs on Dec. 3.
